Launched in 2024 by the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church, WECC serves Birmingham’s West End with ministries of nurture and nourishment!

Urban Ministry
Our pals at Urban Ministry are WECC’s organizational BFFs.
Urban Ministry hosts WECC for all its ministries, allowing WECC to put all its resources toward people programs, rather than building and property costs.

The North Alabama Conference
United Methodists are connectional, meaning UMC congregations in the top half of the state meet, share, network, and support ministry throughout the area.
For mission congregations like WECC, this means prayers, volunteers, gifts, and love flow not only from folks who attend WECC, but from a larger family of believers too.
Friends like YOU!
Ministry on the margins is a heavy lift that doesn’t happen without the prayer and support of so many regular folks. Friends like you put hot meals on the table for kids, grow fresh food, and serve their neighbors when they support WECC.
