WE Learn is the educational arm of WECC.

The goal of WE Learn is to foster and cultivate changemakers from the West End community and to enable elementary and middle school aged children to reach their full academic potential. 

The dream is to establish an environment that nourishes the mind and spirit, a place where students can come alive. 

REGISTER FOR AFTERSCHOOL

    • After school academic enrichment

    • Tutoring and homework help

    • Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) enrichment activities

    • Opportunities for leadership development

    • Daily meal

    • Transportation home after programming

    • Eight weeks of full-day programming, Monday through Thursday

    • Serving rising first-grade students through rising eighth grade students

    • Field trips, swimming, crafts, Bible study, hiking, games, gardening

    • One hour of daily academic instruction to fight the summer slide

  • After School Program Fees

    • $10/week with transportation, $5/week without transportation

    • Or volunteer your time at least four (4) hours per month to West End Community Church.

    • If the fee is a hardship, please do not let it discourage you from enrolling in the program! Contact us and we can work with you. 

    Summer Learning Program Fees

    • $50 per week per student

    • Or volunteer 4 hours per month at Urban Ministry or WECC

    • No transportation offered during the summer session

    • Want to help WE Learn? Volunteer! We are always looking for volunteers, age 19+, to help with our after-school enrichment Mondays through Thursday. You will have the opportunity to tutor students, help with homework, play games with children, provide supervision during academic instruction/activities, and serve as a role model for the future leaders of the West End community.
