WECC usually celebrates Holy Communion during worship on every first Sunday of the month. In March, we’ll celebrate on the second Sunday to accommodate our Selma pilgrimage.

A few things to know:

1. As United Methodists, we believe in an open table. The only requirement is a desire to receive the sacrament.

2. We’re dippers, not sippers. We use intinction, a tradition where worshippers are handed a piece of bread to dip into the common cup.

3. It’s grape juice. To support and include folks in recovery, WECC’s Holy Communion elements will do not include alcohol.
