WECC usually celebrates Holy Communion during worship on every first Sunday of the month.
We’ll celebrate on the second Sunday in January due to the holiday break.
A few things to know:
As United Methodists, we believe in an open table. The only requirement is a desire to receive the sacrament.
We’re dippers, not sippers. We use intinction, a tradition where worshippers are handed a piece of bread to dip into the common cup.
It’s grape juice. To support and include folks in recovery, WECC’s Holy Communion elements will do not include alcohol.
